CrossFit HSE is a proud female veteran-owned gym and led by three friends. Our journey began with a shared love for CrossFit and a dream to create a space where everyone feels supported. We believe in giving back, fostering connections, and helping each member become the best version of themselves.

ALAN BARNES

Alan has been passionate about CrossFit since 2016 and has been with CrossFit HSE since its inception. He has competed in 8 CrossFit Opens, reached Age Group Regionals in 2023 and 2024, and qualified for Semi-finals in 2024. With over 20 local competitions to his name, Alan is deeply motivated by the strong sense of community and friendships fostered at the gym. As an owner, he is dedicated to helping members push beyond their limits in a fun, safe, and high-energy environment, promoting both physical and mental well-being.

ANDY & KAKI DAVIES

Andy and Kaki first met while serving in Afghanistan and bonded over their shared passion for CrossFit. Their dream to open a gym was born from a deep desire to serve others and help them achieve their goals.

FROM COACHES TO OWNERS

As former coaches at this gym, we saw an incredible opportunity to carry on its legacy. Our belief in the CrossFit methodology and love for the community inspired us to step into ownership. We’re results-driven and committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.
